So, I just wanted to let ya'll know I am a really consistent blogger. My consistency: I don't do it. Hardly ever. Right now though, we're hunkered down in Odessa, NE at a truck stop waiting for this storm to pass so we can move along and go home. But since we're stuck here for a while, I figured I might as well update my blog to the latest on my life. :)
My life is no longer my life, it's OUR life! So good! Barry and I got married last year, on May 28th. It's been really awesome :) We have the best time, of course- we're best buds so why wouldn't we? Also, I graduated from Maple Woods Community College with an Associate in Arts in June 2011. I got a new job, whooda thunk I'd ever leave Shatto right? I still miss them out there, and they'll always be like family. (They even let me have my reception in their awesome new building- it was so perfect!) Anyhow though, my new job is at Cameron Regional Medical Center. I work in the Admitting/Switchboard department.
I applied to BYU-Idaho, and so did Barry, and we've both been ACCEPTED! Out there they do this 3-track system though, basically it's like three semesters and you get assigned two of the three to attend your entire time at their school. Even though we've been accepted we haven't been assigned a track yet so we don't know when exactly we'll be starting. The only thing we know is that the earliest will be in the fall.
So basically that's the latest on our life. We're both working, gearing up for school and just have a blast. Until next time.....whenever that is.

All Year Round
There's just some food that's just plain always good and it would take something REALLY bad to mess them up. Things like hot chocolate, lemonade, mashed potatoes, chocolate, cookie dough, fried chicken, corn dogs, corn bread, sloppy joes, blueberry muffins, pancakes, potato soup, cheesy bread...I could go on. These are the kinds of food that are always good, all year round. Hot chocolate in the middle of summer? Bring it on.

Just Like That
Today's my birthday!!! Oh yeah baby! I am nineteen years old now. Can you hear the music? "Celebrate good times, come on!"
Today my dad was realizing it a little bit, and he said something to this effect, "Wow, nineteen years old. Just like that. Hard to believe huh?" To which my mom replied that she could definitely believe it because it really had felt like nineteen years. Well Mom, that makes two of us.
So to celebrate my survival of life thus far, I ate dessert first and had fried chicken for dinner. Oh yeah baby.

'95 short bed pickup
That's the kind of pickup I finally found and bought last week. She's a Dodge, but even with that holding her back...she does good. The 4x4 is pretty awesome, especially with those big fat "super swampers" on her. Now to get her registered and legalized...

Happy April!!!
It's almost two weeks into the month of April, and I have absolutely been LOVING it! The weather has been nice and sunshiney. The trees and flowers are starting to really come alive with beautiful colors with especially vibrant greens. Springtime is here. Happy days.

I Love Cows
I work at Shatto Milk Company [ http://shattomilk.com/ ] which is a totally AWESOME place. If you don't believe me, come and visit us sometime and you will. Just go to our website, make a call and set up a tour. In fact, it's so awesome that even when I've gotta day technically off, a lotta the time I like to go in anyways. Today I went in, actually hesitant about it, but had a real good time. It was a good time cause well, we always have a good time out there on the farm. Of course. But it was a good time even more this time because I stuck around when Dave, Dustin and Seth started milking cows. Normally if I go up to bug them at the barn I leave around the time they start. This time I didn't. I went and helped Dave water one group of cows, then mostly just smiled and grinned my head off while watching Dave and Seth herded the cows into the milking parlor until we started milking. I love the smell of cows. I love how big they are. I love their individual faces. I love their different moos. I love their milk. After I left work today after being around them for a couple hours I was real happy. Maybe I should request to be moved from the plant to the barn... cause I just love cows.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year. This year is going to be great- full of happiness, work and new adventures. I wish everyone the best, and I'm wishing for the best for me.
I already posted some of my goals on here, so gonna be skippin over that... one thing I do wanna do though, is try at least one new thing or do something I've never done every month. Sometimes I know it's gonna be things that life just brings as I'm growing up, but I do want to do some fun things too. This month my new thing will probably be getting a title for my car. The paper work is in the mail, just gotta wait for it all to go through the Missouri Department of Revenue. *crossing my fingers that it all is right*
Yesterday for New Years Eve I didn't do a whole lot. In the afternoon I got dressed up in my new dress, went to town to pick up my car and then headed back to work cause I didn't have anything else goin on. When I got there almost everyone was gone, but in the barn's office there was a baby calf. She'd just been born, and she was so adorable. All wet and bloody and cute. I sat with her a while, petting her. Then Matt came in with a bottle of milk and had me feed her. Just precious. After I was done hangin out there I went back home, changed into my pjs and relaxed with my family. Started playing a game with my sisters, but they left to a party (yes, my little sisters went to a party, and I stayed home) and then I made pizza and watched a movie and tv with my little brother, Wade. It was a nice peaceful night, and I managed to stay awake past midnight. Crazy deal huh? Well, anyways, that was my new year. Hope you had a blast too.
